Paper mill quality control equipment and methods

The mill's quality control equipment and methods include at least one laboratory entrance workstation. The workstations can directly communicate with each laboratory of the paper mill. The information from each laboratory can be confirmed on the workstation. The equipment also includes a gateway workstation. Gather information on the paper mill's online system and reformat the received signals into a simple, usable format.

The full data platform manager communicates with the laboratory portal workstations and gateway workstations to confirm the correctness of the information received and to assign the address to the confirmed information. The communication manager is responsible for transmitting the information received from the global data manager to the Operator workstation.

The operator workstation provides an interface for the whole plant user. Through this interface, data can be displayed and analyzed. In this way, the entire plant can determine its own capabilities at different locations, determine the specifications and operating standards, and at least in the paper mill. The selected position in the paper can be used to estimate the performance of another place in the paper mill.
