First, when attaching MDF and LDF database files, users may encounter an "823" error. This typically occurs due to unexpected crashes or power failures during database operations, server restarts that leave the database in a "suspect" state, or disk I/O errors. Second, during the restoration of a previously backed-up database, an "internal consistency error" may occur.
