The operator should have a deep understanding of the G7 process principle

In daily production control, operators must not only understand the principles of the G7 process but also grasp key concepts such as neutral gray density, HR, HC, and SC. Moreover, they need to accumulate practical experience through hands-on work, which is essential for mastering this complex workflow. For example, when the CMYKRB six-color chromaticity values meet the standard, but the G-chromaticity value does not, the operator must rely on their experience to make adjustments. Since green (G) is a combination of yellow (Y) and cyan (C), adjusting the densities of these two colors can help correct the issue. However, changes in Y density have minimal impact on the L and a values, but significantly affect the b value. Therefore, if the b value of green deviates from the standard, the operator should primarily adjust the Y density while keeping the C density stable.

Only by deeply understanding the G7 process, undergoing proper training, and gaining experience over time can an operator effectively apply the G7 method in real-world production. It's important to note that while data plays a critical role, it’s not always rigid. In actual production, operators must adapt the data based on specific conditions, as real-life scenarios are often more flexible than certification standards. The goal is to use the data as a guide rather than a strict rule. Experienced operators may even fine-tune the standards based on product characteristics or personal insights, such as increasing density, enhancing contrast, or boosting color saturation, to achieve results that go beyond conventional expectations.
