Printed paper rolls can also be subjected to traditional finishing, including glazing, laminating, die-cutting, slitting or cutting into individual sheets.

When pricing digital printing services, Mr. Scherer suggested that packaging companies depend on their own circumstances, and that if there is no problem with delivery deadlines, what would be the price for traditional printing? Assuming that the answer is to pay $1,000 for delivery within four to eight weeks, then how much additional profit can you expect to receive within a few days of delivery?

The status of CL&D digital company:

CL&D Digital, based in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, has two Indigo Omniusw digital presses costing about $400,000 each. Use Adobe Illustrator to process graphic images and send the processed graphic images directly to the press through an Apple computer. Before the final proof of the customer is confirmed, it can be kept on the printing press for one hour.

The device prints at 22 feet per minute and prints four colors. If printing five or six colors, the speed of the press will slow down to 12-18 feet per minute.

The print width is 11.6 inches and the axial width is within 17 inches. Images can be tiled for greater continuous printing.
