Sophie expanded her design vocabulary through a BA in History of Art (Hons) at Leeds University, later studying Interior Design at Parsons, The New School in Manhattan, New York. Over the years, her strong architectural and design sensibility grew under skilled mentorship and her own curiosity for “beautiful things.â€
Studio Ashby’s mission is to craft livable spaces with identity. Whether it’s a home, a restaurant, a hotel, or a commercial development, they approach each project with the same creative mindset, starting by envisioning the lives of the people who will inhabit it. They ask themselves what inspires them, what moves them, and how Studio Ashby can meet their desires and address their needs through design. Art plays a central role in their inspiration and process. Stemming from Sophie’s own passion and education in art history, they believe art has an essential place in every interior, and no space feels complete without it.
