For beginners of RMB collection, the first thing they may face is the problem of packaging terminology. Many beginners may have such experiences and often hear old Tibetan friends or businessmen saying “knives, bundles, and articles”. But do not understand what it means, this is a number of numismatic currency terms that indicate quantity. The following are not coins that cannot be used as a set. For example, they cannot say that there are 27 sets of the third set of Renminbi. This makes others laugh.

The first is a knife. This is the most commonly used, referring to 100 consecutive RMBs. For example, a knife 802 refers to the fourth 80-year 2-yuan 100 serial number. The next most used is a bundle, which refers to 1000 serial numbered banknotes. The method of use is as above. There is also a piece of 5,000 banknotes, and a bag of 10,000 bank notes.

The last one is a box, because this number is not specific to the number because of the different types of coins. The number of 40,000 RMB for 1 RMB is a box, or 50,000 sheets for 1 RMB and 5 angles are a box. , 5 yuan and 10 yuan are 25000 consecutive for a box, 50 yuan and 100 yuan 20000 even for a box.

These may be used in future collections and need to be remembered slowly. There is also an interesting term that is not commonly used in a general collection of sacks, referring to 10 packs. This can be learned as an interest. The collection of these terms is all in the collection of a single currency.
