4. Finished book book page breaks
The temperature of the workshop environment is too high or the air is too dry, it is easy to cause the book block paper to become brittle. The paper contains a certain amount of water at room temperature of about 8% to 10%, the climate is dry, the paper moisture content drops below 3%, the paper Crisp and easy to break, the cutting of the book at the cutting mouth is a common phenomenon.

Some brands of 60 ~ 80g light paper and offset paper due to its own manufacturing process, long-term storage in the above environment for a long time, when cutting the finished product, the book page will be from the end of the meeting (especially close to the opening of the mouth, ground The foot) burst, seriously affecting the quality of the product. For this reason, this problem can be solved by changing the moisture content of the paper. The specific methods are as follows:

1 Place the products to be cut in the baking room, keep the humidity on the ground, raise the temperature to 30-35°C, and the relative temperature reach 65%-70%. After 2 hours, the temperature was set at 28 to 30°C, the relative humidity was 80% to 85%, and it was left for another 12 hours. Paper moisture content of about 9% to 10%, and then cut the product, can solve the problem of paper breakage. Be careful not to over humidify, causing the book pages to absorb excessive moisture and forming wavy flounces.

2 Properly watering the floor of the workshop to increase the humidity of the environment can also solve the phenomenon of page breakage at the cutting office.

3Prints, signatures, and books that are to be printed after printing are not prone to prolonged exposure to sunlight or high temperature baking.

5. Finished Spine Creased and Broken
This phenomenon generally appears in the products of wireless glue-binding, flat-packed plastic bags, and lock-wire plastic bags. There are more products in printed books and double-cut products, and the main reason is that The pressure is not true, the paper is loose, and the book is pretty empty or empty. To solve the problem of the previous process and to solve it in the cutting process, you must:


1 Ensure that the knife edge is sharp and the angle is generally 22°, which can reduce the resistance formed on the book block when the knife is cut.

2 Check the pressure on the book foot. The working pressure should not be too heavy so as not to crush the spine.

3 When pressing the pad surface, the blanket is glued on the surface of the tablet with an adhesive. The pressure Plate should be 2~3mm smaller than the size of the finished book. The purpose is to compress the pressure when positioning the book. .
