1. Principle

2. Tools and materials

3. Inspection method
(1) Take 0.5mL of test ink with a 0.1mL pipette.
(2) Add No. 6 oil for dilution according to the fluidity. Range: Add 18 drops (or 0.3mL at 0.02mL per drop) for fluidity below 24mm; add 14 drops (or 0.28mL) for 25-35mm; add 10 drops (or 0.20mL) for 36-45mm; no oil is added for 46mm or more .
(3) Pick up the diluted and uniform ink with the ink adjusting knife, place it at the groove depth of the fineness meter of the scraper at 50μm, and place the scraper blade vertically on the ink of the groove of the fineness meter. Scrape from top to bottom slowly until it stops at zero, so that the ink fills the groove of the scraper fineness meter.
(4) Immediately after scraping, face the light source at a 30 ° angle to the light source, and use 5-10 times magnifying glass to check the particle density value. (In a scale range, more than 15 particles are counted as the upper scale value, and no more than 15 particles are counted as the lower scale value).
4. Matters needing attention
(1) When the ink is diluted, do not grind hard to prevent dust from flying in.
(2) When holding the squeegee horizontally with both hands, the force should not be too strong, do not make one side heavy, and the ink on both sides outside the fineness plate groove must be scraped off.
(3) The ink fineness test needs to be repeated 2-3 times, and the average value is taken. If the difference is within one scale, the test should be repeated.
(4) After using the ink absorption tube and the fineness meter, it must be wiped clean with a soft cloth or cotton yarn, and greased to prevent corrosion.
(5) This method is only applicable to non-solvent paste ink.
