Introduces a packaging film that can identify genetically modified raw materials

A French company recently introduced a new type of packaging film made from ordinary PVC materials that can be used to identify whether the packaged food uses genetically modified raw materials. Using this specially treated PVC film for packaging, it can be determined whether the package contents and soybean oil are processed from genetically modified soybean materials, even for soybeans containing only 5% to 10% of genetically modified raw materials.
