Learn to be a leader
The responsibility of the leadership is a burden, but it is also a work that can yield great rewards. With the opportunity of leadership, the experienced climbers were able to impart the knowledge they had learned over the years: How to set a steady pace for the team? How to observe the terrain and select routes? How to deal with all kinds of hardships and dangers. Mountain climbing is because we love mountains. It is not necessary. You may never have thought of playing this role, but as the experience grows, you have discovered that leading others is almost inevitable, but only to a degree. A climbing team naturally expects the most capable team members to give guidance, especially in times of crisis. If you are longing for a leadership role, you should specifically look for opportunities to follow the competent leaders in your mind to go hiking together.
