Deng Xuesong: Very pertinently, in the traditional furniture industry, I am not an expert, just a player. Deng Xuesong: If you buy more, just consider how to use it at home, where to put it, and focus on the use of furniture, this is the obvious consumer behavior. If you consider the furniture production process, the source of the model, the type of the type, the style of the genre, etc., this is a collection of ideas. Consumption, collection, and investment all have different focuses, and they also cost money. The positioning and orientation of value are different. These three should be easy to distinguish, but in fact many people will be guilty, will hesitate and entangled, and finally spent a lot of money to buy a bunch of big road goods.

For example, a friend in the past few days accidentally encountered a Hainan huanghuali TV cabinet, the price is OK, he hesitated to buy it, so I called to ask my opinion. I advise him not to buy it, because the price of Hainan huanghuali is already so high, it should be positioned in the collection, and it is no longer just practical. Deng Xuesong: I have been buying the first piece of furniture for almost ten years now. The knowledge about the proportion of the model, the method of processing, the specification of the material, etc. are all from the advice and learning of friends in the industry. The standards I have mentioned are more in the sense of the standards used in Ming and Qing furniture, and are different from the furniture standards produced by most manufacturers in the current antique furniture industry. For example, the thickness of the old furniture table case panel is generally 1.2 cm, the size is larger, and the panel will be thicker. For the current furniture on the market, the thickness of the table type panel is often about 1 cm, and even 0.8 cm, which is not standardized. Why is 1.2 cm standard? Most of the friends who play with the collection are also more experienced, but I have never heard of the situation of buying goods and looking away. I have written some articles in the media and magazines, so there are always strangers who bought huanghuali wood or a batch of huanghuali furniture, and then sent pictures to help me identify the true and false materials. In these pictures, fakes The ratio is very high. I have a rough statistics. To play with this logic, of course, it is bloodless. Some people have said that there are three stages in playing the collection. The first is to be deceived, the second is to lie to yourself, and the third is to lie to others. This is very sad.

Reporter: In your furniture collection, have you encountered any inaccuracies in the furniture materials? How do you circumvent the risks in this process, can you combine specific examples?

Deng Xuesong: The collection of furniture should be calm, and the second is to be modest. If you don't understand, you can't read it. Don't know how to understand it. Don't go too far with your own money. When you can't understand yourself, look for people with real practical experience in the industry. For example, in the past few years, a group of Vietnamese huanghuali had good material grades and grades, and the price was OK. The seller asked me to go to the warehouse to see the goods. I saw it completely. Huanghuali made furniture, the material is true and false, I know it is sure, but this pile of wood does not know how long it has been put, it is gray, and the surface does not see any color texture and characteristics of huanghua pear, so I candid Tell the seller that I can't read it, I need someone to help me. To play with the collection, you must always look at the mirror

Reporter: You mentioned that you will also collect some precious wood. What is the original intention of collecting wood raw materials? The furniture and materials you collect are mainly huanghuali. Why do you have a special liking for huanghuali?

Deng Xuesong: I have talked before, the positioning of the collection should be clear, not ambiguous. I buy Huanghuali furniture and locate it in fine products. Only fine furniture is worth investing and collecting. The more perfect and scarce, the more valuable and valuable it is. The furniture is required as a work of art. Therefore, the furniture with the beauty, the fine art and the excellent material can have the potential and artistic collection value from the “instrument” into the “dao”. If it is not a boutique level, then simply buy the wood, the wood is jade, not carved, with a variety of evolution possibilities: see the classic models that others have and do not have, the eyes are hot, you can look around The masters open the production; the funds are tight, and can also be transferred to cash. Reporter: Your furniture collection has also lasted for ten years, so now look at furniture, compared with ten years ago, what do you think is different? What is the biggest gain in playing furniture for ten years?

Deng Xuesong: Looking at the furniture ten years ago, I was isolated. The furniture is opposite me. I can only touch it and look at the price. I am thinking about it and thinking about it. Is it worth the price? Where is it? Why is it so expensive? As for the craftsmanship and materials, I don’t know anything about it, let alone the problem of the proportion of the shape. I clearly have money in my pocket, but the waist is hard to get up, the gas is not thick, and my heart is still weak, because I can’t understand! This feeling is quite awkward.

Looking at a piece of furniture now, what is the grade? Is the type and proportion in place? Basically, it can be seen at a glance. This feeling is very comfortable. It seems that you are looking at the mirror in your arms. What level of what you know, you will know that you will not be blinded. In addition, buy furniture in the hands of real predecessors, you are looking at furniture, and experts are watching you. You don't know the furniture. To what extent, others are also looking at the mirror. If you look at it, you will see it clearly and you can't fit it.
