Four technologically degradable plastic technologies

Degradable plastic technology is to add a certain amount of additives, such as photosensitizers, starches and other raw materials, in the production process of plastics. In this way, the degradable plastic products can be used after being used up, and be disposed of in nature for three months. The shape is broken down into pieces, which at least visually improves the environment. However, the biggest drawback of this technology is that these fragments can't continue to degrade, but they are only changed from large pieces to small pieces of plastic and cannot be fundamentally qualified to eliminate white pollution. Plant fiber powder plus amine hot pressing technology.

The technology is based on plant fibers, such as straw, rice straw, bagasse, etc., are crushed to obtain fiber powder, and then mixed with a large amount of glue or resin, and then injected into a mold and subjected to high pressure and high temperature molding. The products produced by this technology are better in degradability, but the disposable tableware produced by this technology does not remove the fiber pigments in the production (because the chemical bleaching method must be adopted to remove the pigments, it is bound to cause water pollution). The appearance of the product is unsatisfactory. In addition, pesticide residue on the surface of plant fibers is difficult to remove during the production process, and it is not very safe for making food containers. Moreover, due to the limitations of process technology, it is also difficult to achieve industrialized production. Paper-based plastic technology

Paper-based plastic technology is the use of pulp as raw material, molding and drying in the mold to produce disposable tableware. The cutlery made by this method has been dubbed the title of "environmental protection product" because of its advantages of being non-toxic, harmless, easy to recycle, recyclable, degradable, etc. It is currently a better alternative technology for comprehensive evaluation. However, there are also deficiencies in the technology from the whole process of paper production. First, the production of pulp requires a lot of forest resources. However, China's forest resources are limited, and a large number of deforestation causes soil erosion, which is not in line with China's national conditions; on the other hand, pulp will cause severe water pollution during production, and in some cases, Under the pollution even more than plastic. Therefore, from a macro perspective, the paper-based plastic-molding technology cannot completely eliminate the pollution to the environment, but only advances the environmental pollution of tableware to the environment when it is used to make lunch boxes. In addition, the high production cost of pulp makes the price of paper cutlery produced from pulp higher, so paper-based plastic is not the perfect solution. Bio-degradation technology

The technology mainly uses starch as the main raw material, adding plant fiber powder and special additives in one year of growth period, and making biodegradable fast food boxes through chemical and physical methods. Because starch is a kind of biodegradable natural polymer, it will be decomposed into glucose under the action of microorganisms, and finally decomposed into water and carbon dioxide, without any pollution to the environment. In addition, the material blended with it is also a fully degradable material, and thus the snack box made of this material has excellent degradation performance. According to tests conducted by the relevant national authorities, the samples began to mold on the 5th day of composting, and the samples measured on the 10th day merged with the compost. The samples lost their shape and color before the test, and they all changed into water and carbon dioxide within 40 days. In addition, its raw materials are widely available, and it can be corn, potatoes, sweet potatoes, cassava, etc.; and the price is low, and the cost of producing biodegradable fast food boxes using this material is only 0.18-0.20 yuan; and the production process is free from any pollution. The additives used are non-toxic harmless edible biological glue, so after the use of the product can be further developed as a feed utilization, with the effect of renewable resources.
